Working on posting low numbers in 2020

January 1, 2020- by Steven E. Greer

From my work last year, I now have a swing that avoids early release of the hands by allowing the hips to turn all the way before the shoulder completes their turns. The hands release only as a consequence of the other gears stopping rotation.

This new swing allows me to deliver the club in a reliable path for more accurate and consistent ball striking. Then, of by the way, it delivers much more clubhead speed. I was at 121-mph the last time I checked.

So, for 2020, I will start to take this to the course and get the swing to become more natural. I have to think about it a lot now.

My goal is to shoot under par on easy courses. Stay tuned.
